The Whitworth Hawaiian Club, Na Pu’uwai o Hawai’i (The Heart of Hawai’i), will share food and culture with the Whitworth and Spokane communities during the club’s 47th annual lu’au, on Saturday, April 29. Dinner will be served buffet style in the Hixson Union Building (HUB) from 4:30- 7 p.m., followed by entertainment at 7 p.m. in the Whitworth Fieldhouse. Shuttles will be available to transport attendees from the HUB to the Fieldhouse.

Lu‘au food available in the Hixson Union Building (HUB) Dining Hall. Additional seating is available in the Multipurpose Room and ABC Conference Rooms. 
Meet outside of the HUB (North side)
Shuttle transportation to the Fieldhouse for attendees with limited mobility will be available starting at 6 p.m.
Please bring cash or check if you would like to purchase raffle tickets or items from the Country Store.  
7 - 8:30 p.m. | ENTERTAINMENT 
Meet in front of the Fieldhouse
Shuttle transportation to the HUB for attendees with limited mobility will be available starting at 8:30 p.m.

What does my ticket include?
All tickets, except for students with meal plans, include the Lu‘au meal (served in the HUB) and entertainment (Fieldhouse). If you are a current student with a meal plan, you will scan your ID at the dining hall for the Lu‘au meal. You may purchase a ticket for the entertainment for $2 at the doors of the Fieldhouse (cash only).

Where should I go when I arrive to campus and where do I park? 
The Lu‘au dinner will be served in the Hixson Union Building (HUB) from 4:30 to 7 p.m. You may arrive anytime during that time to eat. The HUB is building #49 on the attached campus map. Parking is available in lots B1, H1, G2 and A1. Shuttle transportation for attendees with limited mobility will be available between the HUB and the Fieldhouse before and after the entertainment portion of the evening.
What time will the event begin and end? 
The Lu‘au dinner is served from 4:30 to 7 p.m. in the HUB. You may arrive anytime during that time to eat. The entertainment is scheduled from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the Fieldhouse.
What is the dinner menu? 
The dinner menu includes Kalua pig, rice, lomi salmon, chicken long rice, macaroni salad, green salad, BBQ chicken, haupia and pineapple upside down cake. 
How will I receive my tickets?  
If you purchase tickets through the online form, your tickets will be available at Will Call in the HUB under the name of the primary registrant. Please be prepared to present ID. You may also purchase tickets in person at the HUB Info Desk starting on Monday, April 3rd.
Will I be able to purchase tickets at the door? 
Yes, tickets will be available at the door in the HUB starting at 4:30 p.m. We will accept cash or check (no credit cards). 
May I request a refund?
We will accept requests for refunds of online ticket orders until 5 p.m. (PST) on Friday, April 21. You must call Michelle Drennen at 509.777.4974 to request a refund.
